About the job
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to IFRS (Leading Ledger) as well as local law (OR)
- Ensuring the correct recording of business transactions in SAP (FI/CO) and taking responsibility for the reconciliation and quality of balance sheet, clearing and intercompany accounts
- Analysis of existing accounting processes, identifying optimisation potential and implementing improvements together with the relevant interfaces
- Creation and maintenance of clear and comprehensible documentation of processes, controls and accounting matters
- Participation in the further development of the Internal Control System (ICS) in the Record-to-Report (RTR) area
- Support of internal and external audits as a competent contact person
- Active involvement in finance projects, automation and system optimisation topics as well as support for further standardisation of finance processes
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING
- Successfully completed further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate, university of applied sciences degree or an equivalent qualification)
- Several years of solid practical experience in accounting according to IFRS (OR experience desirable)
- High confidence in balance sheet and financial statement preparation
- Good SAP R/3 knowledge (FI/CO)
- Confident command of the MS Office suite (especially Excel) as well as good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Structured, independent and solution-oriented working style as well as the ability to set priorities and keep an overview even during intensive closing phases
- Ideally, you already have experience from an industrial environment
