From 1 September 2027, we are looking for you for the 3.5-year apprenticeship as a Mechatronics Technician (m/f/d) for DB Regio AG at the Freiburg (Breisgau) location. The vocational school is the GHSE in Emmendingen. The training workshop is located in Freiburg.

This is what awaits you in your workshop training:

You will become a professional in the maintenance, servicing and repair of our locomotives, ensuring that our trains are always ready for use

Your focus is on the electronic systems

During the apprenticeship, you will also become familiar with programming, installation and testing of modern hardware and software components

In your training as a Mechatronics Technician, you will learn how to create fault and error diagnoses

In addition, we will teach you how to expertly remedy defects

Qualifications

Your profile:

You have (soon) successfully completed school and your school leaving certificate is recognised in Germany

Your German language skills correspond to at least the B2 level

You simply have a passion for vehicles and technology

You are particularly good at maths and physics

It is also clear that you are reliable and a team player

In addition, you work very precisely and like to get stuck in
