As Head of Event Sales (m/f/d) 100%, you work at the interface of culture, design, hospitality, and gastronomy.
You develop events and experiences that remain memorable; from exclusive corporate events to concerts and festivals, to large-scale events with over 1,000 guests.
As a member of the management team, you lead our Event Sales team and actively shape the further development of one of the region’s most versatile event and hospitality businesses.
Your mission:
- Responsibility for the entire event sales process – from the initial enquiry to successful execution
- Leadership and development of the Event Sales team
- Advising and supporting our clients from business, culture, corporate, and private sectors
- Development and sale of customised event concepts including budget responsibility
- Active management of the utilisation of our event spaces and hotel capacities
- Maintaining existing client relationships and acquiring new business partners
- Close collaboration with our teams from hospitality, gastronomy, technical services, and marketing
- Co-designing and further developing our offerings and sales processes
What makes you stand out:
- 2-5 years of experience in event sales, event management, or a comparable role in hospitality or gastronomy
- Completed training in hospitality and/or gastronomy; further education at a hotel management school is an advantage
- Initial leadership experience is an advantage – more important to us is your potential and willingness to take the next career step
- A host personality with a strong service orientation and enjoyment in interacting with people
- Sales strength, initiative, and a good sense of customer needs
- Very good German and English skills, spoken and written; additional languages are welcome
- Solid administrative skills and experience with hotel, reservation, or PMS systems
- Organisational talent, flexibility, and the ability to keep an overview even in hectic situations
- Enjoyment in taking responsibility and contributing your own ideas
