Role:

In the position of Service Technician for Commissioning, you take responsibility for the independent commissioning of our state-of-the-art energy recovery systems at our customers’ sites. You are the on-site contact for all technical questions and ensure the optimal functioning of the systems by quickly analysing and resolving faults. In addition to commissioning, your key tasks include service calls, consultations, and operational optimisations to guarantee customers long-term high efficiency and profitability of their systems. You also plan and carry out regular maintenance work to ensure consistently high performance.

Responsibilities:

• Independent commissioning of energy recovery systems at customer sites, including installation, commissioning, and functional testing

• Fault analysis and resolution of system and equipment malfunctions to ensure rapid recommissioning

• Conducting operational optimisations and fine-tuning after commissioning to maximise system performance and energy efficiency

• Consultations with customers to understand specific requirements and offer customised solutions to optimise operations

• Planning and execution of maintenance work, both preventive and reactive, to ensure the long-term stability of the systems

• Documentation of all work and services provided to ensure clear traceability and quality assurance

• Travel activity of 50-70%, mainly within the DACH region, to perform commissioning and maintenance on site

• Close collaboration with other service technicians and the customer service team to ensure the best possible support for our customers

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), or a comparable qualification

• A further education at higher technical college level (e.g., as a technician or engineer) is advantageous

• Solid knowledge of control and regulation technology and its application in technical systems

• Several years of professional experience in technical service and commissioning, ideally with regular customer contact

• Very good language skills in German and English, both spoken and written, to communicate efficiently with international customers and colleagues

• High willingness to travel of 50-70% to carry out commissioning and maintenance tasks on site

• Interest in topics related to energy and the environment, especially in the areas of energy efficiency and sustainability, to actively contribute to the further development and optimisation of the systems
