For an internationally active company, we are urgently seeking an experienced accounts receivable accountant with solid SAP S/4HANA knowledge. In this operational role, you will independently manage the daily business in the area of Accounts Receivable and ensure a smooth process flow of accounts receivable operations.

Our client is an established, internationally oriented industrial company with complex financial processes and high quality standards. Due to an urgent resource requirement, an experienced professional is sought for an initially 3-month fixed-term assignment, with the option of extension and a possible later permanent position.

Job Description

• Posting and reconciliation of customer payments and open items
• Creation, posting and dispatch of invoices and credit notes
• Maintenance and monitoring of accounts receivable accounts
• Execution of dunning and collection processes
• Reconciliation of bank, cash pool and intercompany accounts
• Preparation of Intrastat and other international reports
• Support with VAT declarations in multiple countries
• Ensuring efficient and error-free daily operations
• Collaboration with internal and international stakeholders

Profile

• Commercial basic training with further education in accounting
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in accounts receivable accounting
• Solid practical experience in invoicing, payment transactions, dunning and reconciliations
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA (must-have)
• Experience in an international environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of VAT, Intrastat or international reporting is desirable
• Very good German language skills
• Independent, precise and structured working style
• High reliability and quick comprehension
• Available immediately or at short notice
