We are looking for a

Professional System Engineer Mechanical 100% (m/f/d)

for our Project Engineering department.

We are addressing an experienced engineer with several years of experience in the steel construction or machinery industry for this position. You have very good communication skills, are enthusiastic, and keep an overview even in hectic times. You enjoy working in an international environment and are motivated to take our company a step further through your independent and high-quality work.

What you will achieve with us

• Partial analysis of logistics processes and visualization of detailed concept and material flow drawings
• Management of the project area "mechanical layouts" including interfaces for small to medium-sized projects
• Development of simple 2D and 3D solutions for overhead conveyors and shell sorters in CAD
• Order coordination of all assemblies and machines in the ERP system until delivery
• Provision of assembly, CE documents, as well as initialization of operating instructions for final assembly and commissioning at the installation sites
• Development and definition of safety concepts for simple plant layouts
• Technical support for construction sites regarding mechanical issues
• Preparation of technical offers and specifications for external orders
• Direct reporting to the project manager
• Leading internal project meetings
• Conducting technical customer meetings (on-site and virtual)
• Layout responsibility until order completion

What you bring with you

• Completed vocational training with a federal certificate of competence (EFZ) as a draftsman, or in a related field with further training as a technician HF mechanical engineering or equivalent professional experience
• Proficient use of structural analysis calculation programs and experience in creating static calculations is an advantage
• Several years of experience in mechanical design in machine or plant engineering
• Solid user knowledge of CAD (CATIA V5, Medusa, AutoCAD)
• Experience handling parts lists and technical documents
• Awareness of technically demanding and economically sensible solutions
• Very good German and English skills
• Conscientious, resilient, flexible, and reliable working style
• Willingness to travel
