For the Radioanalytical Decommissioning group in the Radiation Protection and Safety department, we are looking for a

Your tasks

Analytical-chemical processing of samples from decommissioning and nuclear facilities
Wet chemical processing of samples using extraction chromatography
Performing alpha, beta, and gamma spectrometric analyses
Conducting product controls, including leaching and compressive strength tests on solids
Maintaining laboratory operations: placing orders for laboratory supplies and producing consumables (chemicals)
Evaluation of measurement results, preparation of internal test reports as well as checking and validating external test reports

Your profile

Training as a chemical laboratory technician (EFZ)
Experience in inorganic analytics and digestion methods, e.g., microwave digestion
Practical experience in radionuclide analytics (alpha, beta, gamma spectrometry) would be advantageous
Motivation for quality-oriented work and a clean, systematic approach in analytics
Enjoyment in analyzing and solving complex problems
Strong teamwork skills with high commitment
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Good German and English skills
