Amcor Flexibles Rorschach AG is a company of Amcor Limited, one of the world’s largest suppliers of responsible packaging solutions. With around 300 employees, we refine aluminium foils and other materials into recyclable packaging materials.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Manager (m/f/d) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your main tasks

Strategic responsibility

• Development and implementation of a future-oriented supply chain strategy
• Continuous optimisation of purchasing, planning and logistics processes
• Ensuring high delivery performance, cost optimisation and customer satisfaction
• Introduction and further development of digitalisation and automation projects
• Implementation of sustainable procurement and logistics strategies

Operational management

• Responsibility for material availability and timely production planning
• Management of purchasing, supplier management and cost control
• Monitoring of logistics processes including goods receipt, goods issue and internal transport
• Analysis of material requirements and optimisation of inventory levels
• Development and monitoring of relevant KPIs for continuous improvement
• Conducting cost analyses and deriving appropriate measures

Leadership & collaboration

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of teams in:
• Purchasing
• Production planning
• Logistics
• Master data
• Artwork & cylinder management
• Promotion of employee development, talent management and change processes
• Close cooperation with management, business units and central corporate functions
• Leading cross-departmental projects and representing the company towards strategic partners

Your profile

• Completed studies in supply chain management, business administration, logistics or comparable qualification
• Several years of leadership experience in an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge in purchasing, production planning and logistics
• Experience in optimising complex supply chain processes
• Strong analytical and strategic skills
• Experience with ERP systems and digitalisation topics
• High communication and leadership competence
• Structured, solution-oriented and entrepreneurial way of working
• Very good German and English skills
