The Office for Secondary Schools in the Department of Education manages and coordinates the concerns of the secondary schools of the Canton of St. Gallen. At the six cantonal schools, gymnasial courses as well as commercial, specialised, and computer science secondary schools are offered. Around 5000 pupils are taught at this level by approximately 750 teachers.
