Our client is a leading Swiss company based in the canton of Aargau, which has earned an excellent reputation through the realisation and manufacture of customised engineering solutions. To strengthen the team in the finance department, we are looking for a committed individual as a Finance and Accounting Specialist (80-100%).

Finance and Accounting Specialist 80-100% (m/f/d)

• Budget planning and assistance with process optimisation in the finance area
• Handling of all payment transactions including liquidity planning
• Management of accounts payable and receivable with customer and supplier contact
• Preparation of customer invoices as well as execution of dunning procedures
• Cash management including expense accounting
• Independent management of financial accounting for several companies
• Execution of account reconciliations and VAT returns
• Participation in monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations
• Assumption of administrative special tasks for management and board of directors
• Contact person for fiduciary, auditors and authorities

• Several years of experience in a comparable position, ideally in an industrial SME
• Commercial qualification with further training in accounting
• Solid knowledge of Swiss tax and VAT law
• Proficient in preparing financial statements according to the Code of Obligations
• Experienced in using ERP systems and Excel
• Business fluent German, English is an advantage
• Precise, structured and independent working style
• Reliable, discreet and resilient personality
• Team-oriented with a pragmatic, solution-focused attitude
