GIS Project Manager & Specialist (a)
80% - 100% | Workplace in Lucerne; from 1 January 2027 in Emmenbrücke | Home office possible
You want to not only manage geodata but actively shape its use? You navigate confidently between WebGIS, project management and various stakeholders? Then a versatile role awaits you at the Raumdatenpool Kanton Luzern (RDP) at the interface of the canton, municipalities and utility companies.
Your tasks
- Leading and supporting demanding WebGIS projects - from conception and planning to implementation and stakeholder management
- Coordinating projects and activities for the exchange, use and accessibility of geodata in the canton of Lucerne
- Further developing geodata processes, WebGIS and GIS applications and the geoportal of the Lucerne municipalities
- Developing data and presentation models - independently and in interdisciplinary working groups
- Coordinating professional, technical and organisational interfaces as well as various stakeholders
- Supporting the RDP office with operational and administrative tasks such as support, member management, reporting, website and events
Your profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree in geography, geomatics, computer science, environmental or natural sciences or comparable education
- Several years of experience with Esri WebGIS products (especially ArcGIS Enterprise)
- Proven project management experience in the GIS or geoinformation environment.
- Knowledge of relevant geoinformation standards such as INTERLIS and OGC as well as experience in processing and automating geodata, e.g. with SQL, FME, iG/Script or Python is an advantage
- Structured, solution-oriented and independent working style, combined with a strong goal and result orientation.
- Strong communication skills, team-oriented and open to change as well as the further development of processes and services.
