• You are responsible for the city’s cash and treasury management and ensure the strategic and operational control of financial resources.
• You develop financing strategies, manage financial investments and financing, and optimise financing costs as well as investment returns within the applicable guidelines.
• You plan and coordinate internal and external reporting and take the lead in preparing the task and financial plan as well as the annual report.
• You prepare convincing decision-making bases, concepts and reports on financial policy and business management issues and advise the directorates on financial matters.
• You actively drive the digitalisation of financial and reporting processes, lead projects and collaborate in cross-directorate projects.
• You coordinate cooperation with internal and external stakeholders and maintain exchanges with banks, authorities and other partners.

• You have a higher business administration qualification (university/FH) with further training in finance at postgraduate level or an equivalent qualification.
• You bring several years of experience in finance, treasury, accounting, controlling and reporting – preferably in banking, insurance or the public sector.
• You have sound knowledge in the operational management of cash and treasury management; financial interrelations complete your profile.
• Knowledge of public accounting is an advantage.
• With your enthusiasm for digital solutions, you actively drive the development and digitalisation of processes and have experience in leading and participating in projects.
• As a team-oriented personality, you convince through integrity, loyalty and clear, audience-appropriate communication.
• You act independently, solution-oriented and keep an overview even in demanding situations.
