PPNV Site Coordinator (M/F)

The Vaud Cantonal Penitentiary Service is planning the construction of new facilities on the Northern Vaud Penitentiary Hub (PPNV) site. As part of these constructions and to ensure the smooth running of our future sites, we are looking for a site coordinator.

In this role, you will be in direct contact with project managers and various stakeholders. You will organise the daily monitoring of activities and plan interventions taking into account synchronisation, priorities, and unforeseen events. You will also participate in supervising the site supervisors. Finally, you will be the safety contact for companies and stakeholders.

• Ensure the operational supervision of the PPNV site supervisors;
• Coordinate the sites on the location: planning, synchronisation, and control of interventions;
• Ensure compliance with safety, security rules, and general site concepts;
• Ensure the flow of information between all actors (site meetings, reports);
• Ensure the coherence of works to minimise impact on site operations, users, and sensitive activities;
• Manage operational projects related to the site development.

• You hold a diploma as a construction site technician.

• You have completed safety officer training.

• You have 10 years of professional experience in construction.

• You have 5 years of experience in site management.

• Knowledge of complex projects in operation (airport, hospital, Swiss Federal Railways, prison environment, etc.)

• Sense of responsibility and priorities.

• Ability to manage stress and strong observation, analysis, and synthesis skills.

• Good command of French and common IT tools.

Our employment conditions require you to be Swiss or hold a C permit, free of debt enforcement (an extract from the Debt Collection Office must be presented during the process), and have a clean criminal record.
