Manufacturing Manager & Production Engineering

For our Visp site in the C2 network, we are seeking an experienced leader as Manufacturing Manager & Production Engineering Gas Operations Visp. In this key role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality production along a value chain for the Feed & Food industry (vitamins, fragrances and flavourings) and actively drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Your tasks

• Leading and further developing a team of production and shift supervisors
• Overall responsibility for safety, quality, plant availability and delivery capability
• Ensuring stable and efficient production processes
• Managing and continuously optimising production processes and resource use
• Sustainable resolution of operational challenges and root cause analyses (e.g. RCA)
• Leading improvement and investment projects
• Promoting a strong team culture and continuous development of employees
• Ensuring compliance with HSE, quality and compliance requirements
• Close collaboration with engineering, quality, supply chain and other interfaces

Your profile

• Degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, industrial engineering or comparable
• Several years of experience in chemical production or process industry
• Initial leadership experience and strong leadership skills
• Sound knowledge of process and production technology
• Experience with HSE, quality and production systems (e.g. HAZOP, RCA)
• Structured, solution-oriented and pragmatic working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and high initiative
• Very good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Resilient, team-oriented personality with strong communication skills
