Curtain Buyer (m/f/d)
Your new tasks
- Implementation of purchasing policy according to company guidelines and budget targets
- Responsibility for inventory management
- Pre-selection, evaluation and negotiation with suppliers
- Negotiation of framework agreements as well as purchasing and terms agreements with suppliers
- Ensuring quality standards, delivery capability and sustainability requirements
- Ensuring complete, error-free and up-to-date supplier and article master data
- Team leadership in purchasing (2-3 persons)
- In cooperation with IT/organisation, support and further development of purchasing processes
- Conducting training for staff in home service and at the Point of Sale (POS)
- Support with deputising in purchasing and projects
- Collaboration with marketing and POS management on assortment and marketing topics
What you bring with you
- Initial experience in business administration or first knowledge in purchasing / category management
- Experience in assortment development, procurement, supplier management and price/margin control
- Very good German skills as well as business fluent English and French skills, both spoken and written
- Entrepreneurially minded and responsible personality with a role model function
- Strategic, analytical and at the same time creative thinking with a strong solution orientation
- Completed textile technical training or further education at a textile specialist school or in the field of textile management
- Solid IT and ERP knowledge, ideally in SAP and Opacc as well as confident handling of common MS Office applications
- Initial leadership experience is an advantage but not a requirement
- Committed, proactive and resilient personality with high self-motivation
- Affinity for trends, products and innovations in the field of home textiles and living
