Head of Financial Services

Field of activity

Within the Administrative Directorate, you ensure the strategic and operational management (financial accounting, creditors, debtors) of the financial services

Development of a strategy for the service and implementation thereof

Management of the service's human resources (approximately 15 people)

Closing of accounts and preparation of supporting documents

Specific financial monitoring and expertise, preparation of various statements and development of statistics

Monitoring relations with the service's external partners (fiduciaries, banks, Canton of Fribourg, Confederation)

Expert and sparring partner for the administrative management

Contribution to the overall strategic vision of the University’s finances

Contribution to the development of the financial plan and the annual budget

Requirements

You have training in finance and accounting (minimum diploma) and have completed continuing postgraduate training in financial expertise and controlling

Confidence in analysing results and management control

Proficiency in SAP S/4 HANA software and office tools (Microsoft 365)

Several years of experience in project management and team leadership

Knowledge of public administration processes or willingness to train in this area

Excellent command of French or German with very good knowledge of the other language

Language requirements

French and/or German
