Corporate Functions includes the Group’s non-banking activities and employs more than 600 people. These functions are carried out by specialists with expertise across all business units, and include Communications, Compliance, Finance, Human Resources, Information Security, Internal Audit, Legal, Corporate Office, Risk and Tax departments.
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual to join our Group Financial Planning team as a Finance Analyst and Data Automation Officer. This role offers a unique opportunity for someone interested in both technical IT developments and enhancing their financial acumen, focusing on automation, insightful data visualisation, and management accounting tasks.
Your role
• Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for data and process automation, streamline reporting processes, and enhance overall efficiency.
• Assist in management accounting tasks, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, to support financial decision-making.
• Develop and implement automation solutions for financial data loading and reporting within our systems.
• Create and maintain workflows in Alteryx to automate repetitive tasks and facilitate data manipulation.
• Develop finance dashboards (e.g Tableau) to provide meaningful insights and visual representations of financial performance.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.
Your profile
• Currently pursuing a degree in engineering, finance, data science, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in SQL and Tableau is a significant asset; skills with Alteryx is a plus.
• Genuine interest in finance, financial planning, and analysis, particularly in management accounting functions.
• Prior experience in process automation or data manipulation is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
• French proficiency is mandatory; English proficiency is highly desirable.
• Resident in Switzerland, or willing to relocate.
