About the job
Fortera Treuhand AG was founded in 2026 and is currently in an exciting phase of establishment and growth. For new employees, this means: short decision-making paths, plenty of scope for creativity, and the opportunity to actively shape the development of a trust company from the very beginning.
At the same time, we are not starting from scratch. Fortera builds on an existing client base, a modern and fully equipped infrastructure, as well as over 15 years of trust experience of the founder – including eight years with responsibility for the digitalisation and further development of a trust company in Schaffhausen.
We thus combine the security of an existing mandate portfolio with the opportunities of a newly established company.
We serve SMEs, private individuals, and international clients in the areas of accounting, taxes, payroll, and consulting. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed individual with trust experience who wishes to develop professionally and actively help shape the growth of Fortera.
What to expect from us
- You will manage a diverse portfolio of mandates – from ongoing accounting to payroll administration and tax returns, up to assisting with annual financial statements.
- Your area of responsibility will be tailored to your previous experience and personal development goals.
- Depending on your experience, you will increasingly take on independent management of mandates and maintain direct contact with clients.
- You will work directly with management and benefit from short decision-making paths.
- You will work with modern, digital processes, including EBICS bank connections, fully digital accounting, and a high degree of automation.
- We continuously develop our processes. Besides daily business, there are always smaller and larger projects where you can contribute your own ideas and take on responsibility.
- You will have the space to question existing procedures and develop better and more efficient solutions together with us.
- You can grow with Fortera: those who contribute and take responsibility receive long-term development opportunities – up to a possible participation in the company.
- You will receive 5 weeks of holiday per year. From the second year of employment, part or all of the 13th monthly salary can be converted into up to four additional weeks of leave annually – allowing you to flexibly adapt your holiday planning to your personal situation.
Remuneration
We value fair and transparent remuneration, which is based on experience, expertise, independence, and scope of responsibility.
For a 100% workload, we refer to the following ranges:
- Experienced Trust Officer: approx. CHF 5,500–6,000 gross × 13
- Junior Mandate Manager: approx. CHF 6,500–7,000 gross × 13
The exact classification will be discussed in a personal interview. With increasing experience and responsibility, remuneration will also develop accordingly.
What we expect from you
- Completed commercial basic training, preferably in the trust sector
- Initial to several years of professional experience in the Swiss trust industry
- Ideally further training in the trust sector, such as the trust specialist certificate, or willingness to undertake such training
- Enjoyment of digital work and interest in trying out new solutions and ways of working
- Willingness to question existing processes and recognise potential for improvement
- Independent, careful, and reliable working style
- Enjoyment of direct contact with clients
- Fluent German skills; English skills are advantageous due to our international clientele
What makes Fortera special
With us, you are not just one of many. Your work is visible, your ideas are heard, and your contribution has a direct impact on the development of the company.
Fortera is deliberately built as a modern trust company. We do not simply want to adopt existing procedures but continuously develop our way of working – professionally, organisationally, and technologically.
It is not only about large digitalisation projects. Often, it is also small improvements in everyday life that make a process simpler, more efficient, or more customer-friendly. If you enjoy recognising and implementing such things together, you will find plenty of scope for creativity with us.
We are actively building Fortera further. You will have the opportunity to take on responsibility from the start, help shape structures, and grow together with the company.
