About the job

The Therapies Department offers important support as part of the elementary school for students with language or psychomotor difficulties. Prevention, integration, and professional services are important to us.

Your Tasks

We are looking for a motivated and proactive individual for the position of Head of Speech Therapy starting August 1, 2026. In this role, you are responsible for:

Leading and advising the speech therapy professionals (about 20 therapists)

Organizing, implementing, and further developing the pedagogical-therapeutic measures of the regular school (especially speech therapy) according to cantonal and city framework conditions

Co-shaping the quality development of the Therapies Department

Organizing and co-designing internal training events for the therapists

Collaborating with city school administrations, education management, school authorities, as well as departments and specialist offices of the Department of School and Sports

Your Profile

BA in Speech Therapy (EDK recognition) with professional experience

Leadership training in the education sector or willingness to complete such training

Engaging and committed personality with high resilience and assertiveness

Independent, team-oriented, and interested in interdisciplinary collaboration

Networked, structured thinking, communicative, and flexible

Open to contact with people from different cultures

Communicative and flexible
