Your area of responsibility

This role carries overall responsibility for efficient, timely, high-quality, and economical assembly as well as for the further development of the associated processes and employees.

• Overall responsibility at the Münsingen site for assembly, transport, and export shipping including quality, deadlines, cost-effectiveness, and capacity utilisation
• Planning, organisation, monitoring, and continuous development of assembly processes
• Ensuring optimal use of personnel, vehicle fleet, and other operating resources
• Budget planning and budget responsibility for the area of responsibility
• Implementation of projects from marketing and sales as well as participation in overarching projects
• Ensuring occupational safety, health protection, maintenance, repairs, and relevant environmental regulations
• Close cooperation with management, HR, marketing, sales, and other internal interfaces
• Participation in projects
• Scope for action in process optimisation, technology use, and cross-departmental projects
• Leadership, promotion, and development of subordinate managers and employees

Your profile

• Basic mechanical training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
• Further education at least at the higher technical college (HF) level
• At least 5 years of professional experience in assembly, production, or project business
• Good knowledge of USM products as well as relevant assembly processes
• High expertise in the assembly of USM products
• At least 3 years of leadership experience in an operational environment
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing and assembly technology, assembly planning, quality assurance, cost and process optimisation
• Good MS Office and ERP skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (level C2)
• English skills in spoken and written form (at least level A2)
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting, organisational skills, assertiveness, and enjoyment in leading employees
