About the job
The Goldau Nature and Animal Park annually delights around 450,000 guests amidst an impressive rocky landscape and idyllic forests. On 42 hectares, around 100 European wild animal species live. About 200 employees and many volunteers are passionately committed to nature and species conservation, education, and research – driving forward the sustainable goals of the scientifically managed park.
Your tasks
- Operational management of banquets, events, and catering
- Active participation in service and support of the team during events
- Coordination and leadership of the service team during deployment
- Ensuring a smooth process from preparation to the conclusion of the event
- Contact person for guests and organizers during the event
- Support in the daily business of gastronomy as needed
- Ensuring correct billing of all events as well as follow-up including customer feedback
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in the gastronomy sector, ideally in banquet or event management
- Experience in team leadership and willingness to take responsibility
- Organizational talent and overview even in hectic situations
- Host mentality and enjoyment of events
- Flexible availability for evening and weekend events
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form, foreign languages are an advantage
- Well-groomed appearance, high social competence, and ability to work in a team
