Bad Sonder is a special school home in St. Gallen, beautifully situated above Teufen AR. Here, fifty to sixty young people aged ten to seventeen with learning, behavioural and/or perceptual difficulties are taught. Just over forty young people live during the school weeks in our five socio-pedagogical residential groups.

Internship as a Classroom Assistant

As a school assistant, you support the class teacher in teaching eight to ten young people with learning and/or behavioural difficulties. If possible, your internship will be complemented and rounded off by a part-time placement in a socio-pedagogically managed residential group.

Your tasks:

• Collaboration in the targeted educational support of eight to ten young people
• Support of the class teacher in lessons
• Accompanying our pupils in learning and everyday life

• You enjoy working with young people and have a genuine interest in them
• You are motivated and flexible
• You present yourself as a role model and enable young people to have positive experiences
• You are a humorous, reflective and responsible personality
