This is what you can look forward to.
You are part of a small, very experienced and collegial team and make an important contribution to the smooth functioning of the SBB fleet with your work. You will receive a structured introduction, mostly directly "on-the-job", thus increasing the flexibility of your everyday life. To get to know the different types of vehicles, you will become familiar with various components and thus the diversity of our fleet. Attractive working conditions are important to us. Our benefits such as child allowances, free 2nd class GA and discounted travel abroad - also for the family - can be found on our website under Benefits .
This is what you can achieve.
- In this exciting role, you independently carry out repair and refurbishment work on electronic components such as customer information systems and network technology, which are then installed in passenger carriages.
- As an automation technician or electronics technician, you play an important role in ensuring the smooth operation and thus the availability of the electronic components of our fleet.
- The needs of our customers are constantly changing and you are an important part who implements these needs in the form of modernisation, thus significantly contributing to the comfort of our customers.
- In this role, you are responsible for compliance with safety, quality and execution standards.
- You report on the work performed and ensure the currency and quality of the documentation.
This is what you bring with you.
- A high sense of responsibility and safety awareness as well as a high level of resilience are among your great strengths.
- You are a technically inclined person with an independent as well as flexible working style. We rely on team-oriented personalities, as nothing is done alone at SBB and work is always done in a team.
- To keep up to date with the latest technology, you are open to various training courses and further education (internal/external).
- You have completed a basic electrical engineering apprenticeship with a federal certificate of competence (automation technician, electronics technician, electrical installer or a comparable profession).
- To correctly understand orders and instructions, you communicate fluently in German (spoken and written); knowledge of a second national language (e.g. French) is a plus.
Your salary and benefits.
We have a fair and progressive salary system and actively promote pay equality. Therefore, further and detailed information about the salary system at SBB is transparently available. This position is at requirement level F, regional allowance level 0. More about salary and benefits .
