About the job
In this role within the Money Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes specialist unit, you support the implementation of regulatory requirements in the Switzerland division. You handle money laundering and sanctions-related issues, conduct clarifications, and provide professional support to internal departments. Together with the team, you contribute to quality assurance as well as the continuous development of processes and directives.
Your area of responsibility
- You independently and carefully conduct, analyze, and document money laundering and sanctions clarifications
- You advise and professionally support internal departments on all topics related to AML/CTF as well as sanctions and embargoes and are involved in 2oD controls, quality and monitoring measures, process adjustments, and project work
- You carefully handle increased risk business relationships and accompany software-supported individual and customer checks
- You continuously maintain and update directives
- In addition, you participate in training sessions
Your strengths
- You have a legal or economic background at the bachelor level
- In addition, you have solid experience in AML/CTF as well as sanctions and embargoes; ideally in the insurance industry or at a financial intermediary
- Practical experience as a Business AML Officer in the 1st Line is a plus
- Your working style is structured, reliable, and precise; at the same time, you are characterized by a high willingness to learn and teamwork skills
- You communicate confidently in German and have good English skills; good French or Italian skills are an advantage
