About the job
The Schaffhausen Hospitals include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. In addition, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For our SGNOR training position in clinical emergency medicine at the interdisciplinary emergency centre of the Cantonal Hospital, we are looking for a motivated assistant physician starting April 2027.
In our interdisciplinary emergency centre at the Cantonal Hospital Schaffhausen, we offer comprehensive and high-quality medical care; over 30,000 people are comprehensively medically treated and cared for by us each year.

What You Bring to Us
- Federal medical diploma or equivalent MEBEKO recognition
- At least one year of professional experience in inpatient clinical medicine (general internal medicine, surgery)
- Ideally experience in interdisciplinary clinical emergency medicine
- Commitment and motivation for clinical work of high medical quality
- Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration in a team-oriented environment
