About the job
Your Role
As IT Security & Operations Lead, you connect two worlds that belong together: the secure, stable operation of our platform and IT security in a regulated medical device environment. You keep productive systems running, fend off risks, and build the foundation on which doctors, insurers, and patients trust us – with a perspective towards CISO.
What You Do
Your field is broad – and that’s exactly what makes it exciting:
– Operations & DevOps: You monitor productive systems, analyse resources and performance, plan capacities, and support deployments and releases.
– Security & Resilience: You drive IT security forward in the regulated environment, harden systems and networks, manage backup/restore and disaster recovery, and ensure business continuity.
– 3rd-Level Support: You analyse complex tickets and production errors, perform data corrections, and take over technical escalation in critical incidents.
– Cloud & Infrastructure: You operate and further develop servers, networks, and internal systems, accompany migrations, and resolve technical faults.
– Documentation & Standards: You document thoroughly, establish processes, and keep security and quality standards (ISO) alive in operations.
What You Bring
– Completed IT training (EFZ, degree) or a comparable qualification
– Several years of experience in IT operations and support of business-critical, productive systems
– Solid IT security experience – from system and network hardening to monitoring and incident response; ISMS/CISO experience (e.g. ISO 27001) is an advantage
– Confident handling of Linux and shell, proficient in SQL; shell scripting and other programming skills are a plus
– Network and firewall know-how including zoning and security aspects
– Experience in operating cloud solutions as well as supporting macOS, Office 365, and Windows clients
– Experience in 3rd-level support and analysing complex technical faults
– Sense for documentation, processes, and business continuity – structured and responsible
– Calmness and clarity when things get critical – and joy in making things permanently secure
– Interest in sensibly applying AI and automation in operations and security
– Fluent German as well as good technical English
What You Get
– A key role with real responsibility – and perspective towards CISO
– Meaningful work in the digital health environment: your operations protect real care
– Security and operations in a regulated environment (ISO 13485) – experience that counts
– Flat hierarchies, short decision-making paths, and an interdisciplinary team that gets things done
– Flexible working with home office/hybrid and five weeks’ holiday
– Modern workplace, close to Winterthur train station
– Attractive remuneration based on experience and assumption of responsibility
– Additional benefits
