The Directorate of Economic Affairs and Vocational Education (VWBD) is responsible for economic promotion in the canton. Its task is to stimulate economic dynamism, including tourism. It promotes energy efficiency and renewable energies. The VWBD is responsible for cantonal statistics and manages the commercial register. It is active in housing policy and vocational education. The VWBD also ensures a balanced labour market and promotes the reintegration of job seekers. Finally, it oversees active land policy and the universities of applied sciences of the Canton of Fribourg.

Your tasks
- Examination of complaints submitted to the Directorate
- Review of cases within the framework of HR procedures
- Preparation of administrative orders
- Legal research and legal opinions
- Legal advice to the Directorate's administrative units
This position is attached to the General Secretariat and reports to the legal advisor of the VWBD.
Desired profile
- Master's degree in law or equivalent qualification (lawyer's licence advantageous)
- Several years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in a court clerk's office desirable, good writing skills
- Knowledge of the functioning of Fribourg institutions, especially the cantonal administration, and interest in the region
- Proficiency in common IT tools
- Excellent command of French with good knowledge of German
