As a member of Quality Control (QC) at the Visp site, you are a central part of our production and quality processes. In this role, you ensure through precise in-process and release analytics that our products meet the highest quality and safety standards. You work closely with production and interfaces and make an important contribution to the continuous improvement of our processes. This position offers you the opportunity to apply your expertise, take responsibility, and actively contribute to the sustainable development of Arxada.
Your tasks:
- Independent planning and execution of release analyses including troubleshooting as well as documentation and evaluation of results
- Ensuring compliance with internal as well as ISO and quality guidelines
- Implementation and further development of analytical methods focusing on GC/HPLC and titration
- Maintenance and updating of QC plans in LIMS
- Active participation in innovation and optimisation projects for continuous process improvement
- Taking on project work in close collaboration with production and other interfaces
Your profile:
- Completed training as a laboratory technician EFZ (specialising in chemistry) or comparable qualification
- Experience in quality control, ideally in an industrial environment
- Strong safety awareness and high standards of quality
- Independent, structured and flexible working style as well as strong team and communication skills
- Very good German skills as well as basic knowledge of English
- Knowledge of MS Office and interest in digitised laboratory systems (e.g. LIMS)
