About the job
At AWZ, the individual with their uniqueness is at the centre.
We embody an attitude that perceives people with disabilities as unique and equal individuals. We accompany and support the personal development of our clients, placing their concerns and wishes at the forefront.
AWZ operates according to the person-centred approach and aligns all offerings so that self-determination and independence are central to the lives of all people at AWZ.
For the newly created position, we are seeking an experienced leader with high agogic competence. You will take responsibility for the Work and Activity area, including the associated leisure and gastronomy offerings, and shape their further development together with the team.
Leadership Role in Agogics Work and Activity 80 - 100%
What you bring
You have a solid agogic education and several years of experience in supporting people with disabilities. You are experienced in leading a larger team: you provide orientation, make comprehensible decisions, and support employees appreciatively and reliably. You think in a networked way, work person-centred, and implement projects pragmatically. Knowledge of ASD and AAC is desirable.
What awaits you
You will lead a versatile team of around 10 employees. As a new leadership level, you will create clear structures, optimise internal processes and standards, and further develop these in collaboration with the department management. Together with the team, you will develop needs-based offerings and ensure agogic quality. At the same time, you will regularly work in practice and flexibly support the areas as a floater when needed. You will work closely with the department management and other areas of AWZ and hold the specialist responsibility for AAC.
You can expect a leadership role with plenty of scope for design, short communication paths, and a professional, motivated team. We offer attractive employment conditions and an environment where initiative is encouraged.
Have we piqued your interest? Then we look forward to hearing from you!
