Network Control Specialist

• In a team of six specialists, you work with network control and calculation systems, contributing to a secure power supply.
• You plan, check, and approve switching orders in the medium and high voltage network and instruct switching operations.
• You write documents and instructions for employees in the distribution network area of the city of Zurich in fluent German.
• You independently manage smaller projects and participate as a representative of network control in larger projects.
• After comprehensive training, you provide on-call duty (standby) about eight times a year and coordinate fault management in the event of a supply failure.

• Building on your basic electrical training EFZ (e.g. electrician or automation technician), you have completed a degree (FH or HF) in electrical or energy engineering.
• Ideally, you have already gained professional experience in medium or high voltage during or after your studies.
• Experience in network calculation and operations management is an additional advantage.
• You keep a cool head even in stressful situations and can be on-site in Zurich Oerlikon within 30 minutes during on-call duty (standby).
• Your reliable and resilient nature convinces as much as your service-oriented and forward-looking working style.
