Two tasks, one vocation: As a Hotel Service staff member, you ensure enjoyment and well-being in our palliative care ward. If you also have training as an SRK nursing assistant or Health and Social Care Assistant (AGS), you can contribute up to an additional 50 % in nursing – entirely according to your strengths and wishes.

The Regional Care Centre Baden is one of the largest providers of long-term care in Switzerland. We offer our residents of all ages specialised professional care and support in various areas of expertise. Our headquarters in Baden (AG) is currently being comprehensively modernised through new construction and renovations, complemented by 86 new retirement apartments.

In our palliative care ward , we accompany and care for people in a particularly sensitive phase of life – with dignity, individually, and surrounded by their relatives. As a Hotel Service staff member, you play a significant role in ensuring that our residents and their relatives feel completely comfortable and well cared for.

For the RPB location in Baden, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a competent, reliable, and committed individual as

Hotel Service Staff (m/f/d), Palliative Care, 50 - 100 %

This is how you support us:

• With a 50 % workload as Hotel Service staff (m/f/d), you mainly take morning shifts (including weekend shifts) in our palliative care ward
• You lovingly prepare the tables, ensure a fine meal experience, and create a homely, calm atmosphere
• You sensitively advise and accompany our residents and their relatives in menu selection and service
• You take care of dish management
• You perform domestic tasks in the living and residents’ rooms
• You support the laundry cycle and administrative tasks such as ordering
• If you have training as a Health and Social Care Assistant (AGS) or SRK nursing assistant, you additionally take on up to 50 % nursing and care tasks in the palliative care ward
• You support our nursing team with basic care and the daily activities of our residents
• You approach residents and relatives in a particularly sensitive phase of life with calmness, empathy, and mindfulness

• You have completed training in the field of hotel services, housekeeping, or gastronomy
• Ideally, you have additional training as a Health and Social Care Assistant (AGS) or SRK nursing assistant
• You enjoy a varied role
• You bring empathy and respect in dealing with seriously ill and dying people as well as their relatives
• You work reliably, independently, and appreciate interdisciplinary teamwork
• You are open to new things and enjoy continuous personal development
• You have good spoken German skills
