Physician Associate Centre Abdomen Visceral Surgery (a)

This is what the professional everyday life looks like

• Together with the medical staff, you take over the medical care of patients in the visceral surgical area of the Abdomen Centre
• You are part of the medical team and work closely with nursing staff as well as diagnostic and therapeutic services
• Supported by treatment pathways and medical supervision, you take over medical care in stable patient situations and assist in complex and unpredictable treatment courses
• On behalf of and in consultation with the treating physician, you perform the following tasks: admission and discharge of patients, ordering diagnostic and therapeutic measures, conducting ward rounds as well as documentation and coordination tasks

Competences and potential

• Training as a certified nurse HF/FH or in a medical profession
• 2 years of experience in a somatic acute hospital is an advantage
• Willingness to continue education, e.g. MAS in Physician Associate Skills
• Above-average medical expertise and high professional, social and methodological competence
• Motivation to shape new paths and take responsibility

• Continuous development of your competences
