Restorer
Office of Culture | Graubünden Art Museum | 50% | Chur
For the Graubünden Art Museum, we are looking for a restorer starting January 1, 2026.
Tasks
- Conservation and restoration of objects within the framework of collection care, exhibitions, and loans.
- Planning of restoration and conservation measures and execution of restorations.
- Maintenance of exhibition spaces and storage as well as training all staff regarding handling, mounting, care, and storage of objects.
- Documentation.
What we expect from you
- University degree in conservation and restoration of paintings and sculptures.
- Experience gained as a freelancer or in a museum.
- Manual skills with good knowledge of material science and art technology, as well as conservation and restoration methods.
- Proficiency in common word processing and image editing programs.
- Ability to work independently and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of a second cantonal language.
