The pre-internship at Hirslanden Clinic Stephanshorn serves as admission for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme at the OST University of Applied Sciences. Its aim is to give you a detailed insight into the professional everyday life of nursing. After appropriate introduction, you will actively work in the nursing team and take responsibility for the tasks assigned to you.

YOUR TASKS

• Nursing and care of our patients together with qualified nursing professionals
• Ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment
• Supporting and advising patients in their meal choices, taking into account their health condition
• Taking on administrative and logistical tasks

YOUR PROFILE

• Gymnasium Matura, specialised Matura in a field other than health, or a non-health-related Swiss Federal VET Diploma (EFZ) with BMS.
• Provisional enrolment confirmation from the University of Applied Sciences

• Willingness to learn and motivation
• Empathy in dealing with patients and their relatives
• Good written and spoken German skills
• Reliability, as well as a friendly and open demeanour
• Physical and mental health
• Ability to work in a team
