Professional Integration Advisors 80-100% in Freiburg (m/f/d)
The Migration & Integration West Switzerland department - a branch of Caritas Switzerland in Freiburg - is responsible on behalf of the state for the support and integration of recognized refugees in the canton of Freiburg.
The integration service is an interdisciplinary service with 30 employees, distributed across 5 specialist areas. The goal of the service is to promote the sustainable professional and social integration of refugees. The specialists accompany clients individually and in groups to evaluate their needs and skills, develop personalized measures, and coordinate cooperation with other services as well as external partners.
As part of this activity, we are looking for a professional integration advisor whose main tasks are the evaluation of the needs and skills of the refugees being supported as well as their support and guidance in the socio-professional integration process.

Your tasks
- Evaluation of the needs and skills of refugees as well as support in the professional integration process
- Implementation of integration measures, internships, and other activities
- Planning, conducting, and accompanying courses/trainings for refugees
- Ensuring documentation and updating in the management system
- Administrative tasks and information management within case management
- Collaboration with internal services of the department
- Collaboration with external partners, those responsible for integration measures (MIS), as well as relevant state authorities
- Knowledge of cantonal MIS measures and cooperation with the respective responsible persons (employment programs, integration and language courses)
- Participation in the development and implementation of new internal and external projects
Our requirements
- Tertiary education in humanities or social sciences or equivalent training
- Professional experience in socio-professional integration and/or adult education, project management experience is an advantage
- Training as an adult educator (e.g., SVEB certificate), advantageous
- Experience working with migrants is an advantage
- Good knowledge of the economic and social network in the canton of Freiburg
- Very good organizational and administrative skills, analytical thinking, and resilience
- Initiative, sense of responsibility, accuracy, and professional ethics
- Independent as well as team-oriented working style in a multicultural environment
- Very good IT skills (data management, Microsoft Office, etc.), knowledge of the software Tutoris or comparable is an advantage
- Native language German or French with very good knowledge (at least C1-C2) of the other language; additional language skills are an advantage.

Workplace is Fribourg, with possible assignments in Matran
