Administrative Assistant at the Department Secretariat

The Department of Public Economy and Social Affairs (DEPS) comprises eight services with a varied range of activities and about 500 employees. The Department Secretariat is the DEPS's staff unit. A team of 13 employees supports the Department Director in all technical, legal, management and political matters and ensures effective collaboration with the services.
For 1 August 2026 (or by agreement) we are looking for an administrative assistant for our Department Secretariat to strengthen our administrative team of three people.
- Handling all administrative tasks and general correspondence
- Support in the preparation of government decrees, departmental decisions, indictments, messages, parliamentary interventions, consultation procedures, draft laws and publications
- Processing appeal and criminal proceedings, including file management, deadline monitoring, invoicing and collection
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail, including data entry in the CMI management system
- Telephone service and reception
- Organisation of appointments and meetings
- Completed commercial training and several years of professional experience
- Insight, structured, independent and precise working method
- Reliability, discretion and sense of responsibility
- Team spirit, flexibility, ability to cope with stressful situations and service-oriented attitude
- Fluency in German; knowledge of another cantonal language is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
