As the fifth largest canton in Switzerland with around 6000 employees, we at the cantonal administration are committed to the common good of society. Through our meaningful work, we leave a small footprint every day, as it is relevant to over half a million people.

The Lokremise is St. Gallen's vibrant cultural venue with theatre, cinema, art, and gastronomy. The Lokremise Foundation coordinates operations in the interdisciplinary cultural centre and ensures that the Lokremise is a lively place of encounter and artistic exchange. The Lokremise is one of five cantonal cultural sites; as the owner, the canton is responsible for the ongoing maintenance of the listed building. The ten-member foundation board includes three representatives from the canton, one of which is to be newly appointed.

From September 2026, we are seeking to complement the foundation board with a culturally inclined individual who brings expertise in the field of law, as
