Group Consolidation Specialist (m/f/d) 80 - 100 %

What this role is about

You combine sound group accounting with the ambition to further develop reporting and consolidation processes. In the consolidation team, you contribute to the group financial statements, work closely with our international finance teams and at the same time shape the future process and system landscape.

Your contributions

• Together with the team, you ensure timely and high-quality consolidation of the financial data of our international group companies
• You check, validate and analyse the reported financial data and clarify discrepancies directly with the local finance teams
• You perform and monitor central consolidation steps: capital, debt, expense and income consolidation, intercompany reconciliation, elimination of intercompany profits and currency translation
• You prepare and analyse consolidation entries, reports and group reporting
• You support the group balance sheet, group profit and loss account, cash flow statement, notes and other closing documents such as the management report
• You work closely with auditors as well as internal departments such as accounting, controlling, tax, IT and SAP.

Why you fit with us

• You have a higher education in finance and accounting or a comparable qualification
• You bring professional experience in group accounting, group accounting, finance and accounting or auditing
• You are familiar with group accounting and understand the essential consolidation methods
• You work very confidently with Excel and have a strong affinity for numbers
• You communicate well in German and English - both written and spoken
• You work analytically, structured and independently and appreciate working in an international environment

• A PLUS, BUT NOT A MUST
• Experience with consolidation software as well as knowledge of IBM Cognos Controller. Knowledge of SAP or SAP S/4HANA and a good understanding of ERP, data and interface topics.
