About the job

Procap is the largest Swiss self-help organisation for people with disabilities. It notably provides social insurance advice throughout Switzerland.

To strengthen our social insurance advice centre in Lausanne, we are looking for a:

Social Insurance Specialist (60%)

Start date: 1 February 2027 or by agreement

Your mission

You will advise and support our members from the cantons of Vaud, Valais and Geneva in their social insurance matters. In this context, you analyse sometimes complex situations and contribute concretely to defending their rights.

Your main tasks:

advise our members in the field of social insurance;

represent them on mandate within the framework of administrative procedures;

analyse decisions and draft appeals;

maintain and develop contacts with administrations and partner organisations;

ensure the administrative follow-up of the files entrusted to you.

Your profile
You hold:

a social insurance specialist certificate, a Bachelor of Social Work (HES) complemented by training in social insurance law (CAS or equivalent qualification), or a training considered equivalent;

very good knowledge of the Swiss social insurance system;

excellent writing skills and, ideally, experience in drafting appeals;

good analytical and synthesis skills, including in complex situations;

the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines inherent to procedures;

ease in supporting people facing complex situations;

good command of common IT tools.
