The Department of Construction and Planning, which includes civil engineering, urban development, as well as building and fire police, controls and shapes the spatial and structural development of the town.
For the civil engineering sector, we are looking for a committed individual to start by arrangement as
Civil Engineering Project Manager 60–100 %
Your main tasks- Independent planning, management and implementation of demanding civil engineering projects (road construction, utility construction, public spaces and playgrounds)
- Client-side project management including site supervision as well as preparation of decision-making bases and applications for political bodies
- Professional advice and support in the areas of road construction, utility construction and drainage
- Participation in the further development of sustainable and future-oriented infrastructures
Your profile
- Completed vocational training and further education at FH or HF level in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Experience in project management as well as sound knowledge of cost estimation and tendering procedures
- Experience in project management in general civil engineering and utility construction as well as good knowledge of all planning phases
- Interest in innovative solutions in road construction and in interdisciplinary planning processes involving the public, as well as topics related to drainage planning, sewerage and property drainage
- Understanding of political processes and legal issues
- Confidence in handling standards and working tools (e.g. NPK, VSS)
