Information Security Expert ISMS & Security Architecture 100%The Office for Informatics (AFI) is the IT competence centre of the Canton of Zurich. It provides comprehensive services in the area of central IT infrastructure and canton-wide applications for directorates, authorities, the judiciary, and independent institutions. Entrusted with implementing the new Information and Communication Technology (ICT) strategy, the AFI accompanies and supports the Canton of Zurich into the digital world.
For the further development of our information security and strengthening of our team, we are looking for an experienced individual with expertise in Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Enterprise Security Architecture.
Your tasks
- Support in the introduction and further development of an Information Security Management System (ISMS).
- Development, maintenance, and further development of central security documents such as policies, risk treatment plans, Statements of Applicability (SoA), and governance documentation.
- Preparation and support of internal and external audits and certifications according to ISO/IEC 27001.
- Planning and coordination of collaboration with specialist departments, ICT, data protection, legal services, and management bodies.
- Further development of the Enterprise Security Architecture and representation of the topic (e.g. demand process).
- Support of projects and initiatives in defining and implementing security requirements (including ISDS concepts).
Your profile
- Several years of professional experience in the field of information security.
- Sound knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27001 standard as well as practical experience in building, operating, and certifying an ISMS.
- Experience in project management and professional stakeholder management.
- Strong ability to analyse complex issues in a structured manner, document them, and prepare them appropriately for the target audience.
- Understanding of the requirements and particularities of public administration or comparable regulated organisations.
- Experience in security architecture, architecture governance, and enterprise architecture.
- Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented working style with a high standard of quality.
- High communication and moderation skills as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Strong sense of responsibility, pragmatism, and assertiveness in complex environments.
- Confident and convincing presence towards specialist departments, project management, and management bodies.
