Shop Floor Engineer & Deputy Head of Shop Floor (80-100%)
To strengthen our workshop, we are looking for a dedicated and versatile personality with technical know-how and a solution-oriented working style. In this role, you will actively contribute to the production of prototypes, the expansion of our operating resources, and the continuous development of the workshop.
What you will do
- Manufacture of prototype parts according to drawings on conventional as well as CNC-controlled machines (Mastercam)
- Design and independent production of operating resources such as contact, testing and fixture systems as well as tools
- Maintenance and servicing of tools at external suppliers
- Support of the workshop manager and deputising during their absence
- Active participation in the expansion and further development of the workshop
- Obtaining quotations as well as procurement of tools, materials and complex assemblies
Who you are
- Completed basic technical training (e.g. polymechanic, mechanic, toolmaker) with further education in the technical field (HF)
- Knowledge of pneumatics as well as electrical/electronic systems is an advantage
- Experience in assembly and handling of technical assemblies
- Quick comprehension as well as an independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Confident handling of common PC applications and technical tools
- Team-oriented, reliable and resilient - even in hectic situations
- Strong communication skills and openness in dealing with different contacts
- Enthusiasm for technology and motivation for continuous development
