Marketing and Communications Specialist (50%)

About the job

• Plan, coordinate and, if necessary, implement activities for student recruitment for the Department of Mechanical Engineering , especially with regard to the move to the Biel/Bienne campus from Burgdorf to Biel
• Actively assist in the further development and maintenance of stakeholder management of relevant feeder schools, training companies and professional associations
• Support the identification, realisation and evaluation of content for various marketing and communication channels including media work
• Organise and coordinate the production of recruitment materials such as brochures, flyers, video and image production
• Assist in the implementation of various marketing projects for the Marketing and Communications Department at the Department of Engineering and Information Technology

• Completed commercial training with further education in communication/marketing or comparable training with professional experience; experience in multimedia production/media technology or graphic and (moving) image production is an advantage
• Experience in handling digital media and content creation for social media and other online and offline channels; experience in media work and internal communication
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom) is an advantage
• Excellent communication and organisational skills; confident German; good French and English skills are an advantage
• Team player, independent and structured working style; sensitivity for target group-specific communication as well as a flair for technical topics and disciplines
