- The employment service ensures, in collaboration with political, economic, and social actors, the balanced development of the labor market; it is composed of two offices: - the Labor Market Office (OMAT) - the Office of Labor Relations and Working Conditions (ORCT)
- You actively participate in defining the service's strategy regarding employment policy, labor relations, and working conditions, as well as in implementing the objectives set by management, in compliance with federal and cantonal legislation. At the same time, you oversee the management of the office and services related to health and safety at work, combating undeclared work, support measures, prostitution and pornography, social benefits abuse, and unemployment insurance monitoring. Finally, you ensure effective work organization and quality of services with a cross-functional approach, while ensuring compliance with legal and internal procedures.
- Holder of a university degree or an equivalent qualification complemented by training in public management, you have several years of experience in a complex responsibility role and team management. Relying on an excellent knowledge of the regional economic fabric, you have a deep understanding of state institutions as well as federal and cantonal legislation regarding employment, working conditions, and labor relations. Endowed with strong interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills, you know how to lead and mobilize your teams with rigor and discernment. Your cross-functional vision and analytical skills allow you to provide concrete and adapted solutions. Leadership, initiative, stress resistance, and ease in crisis management complete your profile. You represent the service and the canton with confidence and political awareness.
