Data Scientist with a strong interest in software development, fixed-term until the end of 2030, 80%The Data and Analytics Department of the Office of Health is the competence centre for data-related questions concerning healthcare in the Canton of Zurich. We enable data-driven decisions and shape the work with data in the Health Directorate.
For our work within the framework of hospital planning, we are looking for a Data Scientist with a strong interest in software development, 80%, to start immediately or by arrangement, fixed-term until 31 December 2030.
Your area of responsibility
- Creating data analyses as a basis for the further development of the hospital planning service group system (SPLG) in coordination with medical experts
- Coordinating the medical logic and development requests from the specialist area with the technical implementation in the Grouper software ("hinge function")
- Data-based analysis of the effects of changes to the SPLG system (testing and quality assurance)
- Deputising for the developer of the SPLG Grouper software
- Taking on additional data tasks of the department as needed and depending on resources
