Tasks
- Professional and organisational management of the "Prevention Services" department of the Criminal Police with responsibility for the specialist units Cantonal Threat Management, Domestic Violence, Weapons and Explosives, Cantonal Intelligence Service and Traffic Instruction
- Personnel management, promotion and development of directly subordinate employees
- Responsibility for the effective and efficient fulfilment of tasks within the service
- Management of specialist projects, participation in working groups, expert committees as well as close cooperation with internal and external partner organisations
- Participation in the continuous development of the Criminal Police department
- Co-responsibility for operational business within the framework of the leadership of the Criminal Police
- Assumption of regular on-call duties at the service head level for the entire corps
Expectations
- Police officer with a federal advanced professional examination
- Several years of professional and leadership experience, preferably in the criminal police environment
- Good knowledge of criminal law and criminal procedure law
- Strong leadership, social and communication skills
- Analytical, goal-oriented and solution-oriented working style
- Quick comprehension, flexible thinking as well as high independence and resilience
- Networked thinking and confident action even in demanding situations
