Market Intelligence Analyst (Regulatory Value)

The Market Intelligence Analyst (Regulatory Value) plays a crucial role in EcoCeres by ensuring that EcoCeres stays ahead of competition. This role will monitor the development of European biofuel markets, with strong focus on regulatory policies development, renewable mandates /obligations, in order to quantify financial impact on for both HVO and SAF products.

The primary responsibility is to identify, collect, analyze, monitor, and report the critical biofuel market information in Europe, including but not limited to, policy changes, renewable obligations/mandates, certificate trading markets, biofuel capacities, pricing analysis, cost competitiveness of different production technologies on regular basis.

This role will also collaborate with the Commercial team, for strategic partnership & collaboration, with colleagues within the Market Intelligence team for proprietary database & analytics system building for optimized business strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1.Market Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze European biofuel and carbon market policies
  • Assess financial impact of any regulatory policy changes on biofuel products (i.e. HVO and SAF) market conditions, including pricing, demand and supply.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes, environmental policies, renewable obligation/mandates, and emerging trends that may impact biofuel products demand/supply

2.Data Analysis:

  • Utilize data analysis tools and software to forecast biofuel products demand and supply and optimize business strategies amid regulatory policies changes.
  • Generate reports and insights to support decision-making processes.Ringstrasse 1, 4600 Oltenments, to formulate business strategies amid change market conditions.

6.Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of European biofuel and carbon policies regulations.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for management to track key biofuel regulatory development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as accounting, finance, supply chain management, agriculture, or environmental science.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  • Fluency in one of the European languages (French, German, Dutch, Spanish or Italian)
  • Knowledge of European biofuel markets and regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Understanding of sustainability and environmental regulations.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing market conditions.
