Site Manager

Technical Office / 80-100 % / Samedan

The Technical Office is responsible for the planning, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads, as well as hydraulic structures and slow mobility in Graubünden. In addition, we take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads within the canton. The cantonal road infrastructure includes over 1450 structures, including bridges up to 90 metres high and tunnels up to 3 kilometres long. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton conceals in summer and winter make our work demanding and varied. As an office certified with the Friendly Work Space label, the health and satisfaction of our approximately 480 employees are particularly important to us. For this reason, we are committed to systematic health management in the company (GSA).

For the road construction section, we are looking for from 1 August 2026 or by agreement a site manager

Responsibilities

Management and supervision of the construction sites assigned to you as the client representative
Setting deadlines and coordinating the work
Ensuring quality, measurement activities and execution of all contractually agreed work
Preparation of estimates, tender documents and calculations
Monitoring the budget

What we expect from you

Completed professional apprenticeship in construction
Further training as site foreman, master builder or site manager or equivalent professional development
Several years of professional experience in road construction and civil engineering
Practical experience in performance description
You are a confident person with organisational skills and negotiation abilities as well as the ability to work in a team
Knowledge of Italian and/or Romansh is desirable
