For our location in Steinhausen/ZG, we are looking to complement our expert team with a Motion Control Engineer m/f/d 100%

Your future responsibilities
In this role, you will develop and optimise innovative solutions for our highly precise machines. You will contribute your technical know-how from conception to successful commissioning and use modern technologies purposefully to further develop our products and processes.

• Development and optimisation of control systems for highly dynamic motion sequences
• Conception, dimensioning, commissioning, optimisation, and qualification of mechatronic modules and moving axes
• Use of the latest AI and LLM technologies to support development, analysis, programming, testing, documentation, and innovation in the field of motion control
• Further development and maintenance of configuration management for low-level motion and process software
• Provision of technical expertise in the areas of mechatronics and motion control
• Integration of new sensors, devices, and hardware components as well as further development of the pneumatic infrastructure
• Support in fault analysis in production, assembly, and on-site at the customer
• Strategic collaboration with suppliers to further develop the technology roadmap
• Leadership and coordination of technical sub-projects

What speaks for you
You are passionate about demanding motion control solutions and want to actively shape the future with AI? Then ideally you bring the following:

• Successfully completed Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics with a focus on control engineering
• AI is a natural part of modern development and engineering processes for you
• Several years of practical experience in the professional use of AI technologies and AI-supported engineering workflows
• Solid experience in the development and control of mechatronic systems, especially in the areas of sensors, actuators, and drive technology
• Very good communication skills in German and English are a must-have
• Willingness to travel for occasional project assignments in Europe and Asia
