The Swiss Foundation Pro Mente Sana is the national specialist organisation for mental health. It advocates for the interests and rights of people with mental health impairments. The foundation is committed to early detection, represents the concerns of those affected in politics and society, and offers services in the field of mental health.

We work on a socially highly important topic in an innovative non-profit organisation at the Zurich-West workplace and also have an office in the centre of Bern.

For our financial accounting, we are looking for an

Accounting Specialist (60%)

Your tasks

• Independent, timely processing of daily business
• Bookkeeping and reconciliation of banks and securities transactions
• Accounts receivable accounting including dunning
• Invoicing of donations, service agreements and services for selected fields of action
• Support with closing tasks for interim and annual financial statements
• Substitution in personnel administration tasks

Your profile

• Commercial training with further education in accounting or several years of professional experience in finance and accounting
• Good VAT knowledge, experience with cost centres is an advantage
• Structured, independent and precise way of working
• High service orientation
• Resilience, commitment and hands-on mentality
• High social competence and discretion in handling confidential data
• ABACUS knowledge is an advantage
• Very good German skills, French or Italian skills are an advantage
